When you first get to your job you should always walk attentively.
When you get to the door/entry say thing like "My name is...", "Hi!,how are you today"
If you are using your own equipment you should always take good care of it especially when around your customer! Always check your equipment better than you would at your own house. If your using the customers equipment as best as you possibly can! Offer to change the oil or to do something small on the machine. By doing all of this this will show that you want the machine to run the best. When someone shows that they want it to do a good job it shows that YOU want to do a good job!
One of the most important things is that your company must always have a GREAT attitude when going on jobs. This will show the customer that you are happy that you're here doing what you do and you're not grumpy and not just for the money. The good attitude will also reflect on what kind of job you will do. A good attitude will give you a good job. A bad attitude will give you a bad job.
One you are done you NEVER ask for money. You always wait. Very rarely does the customer forget to pay. If they do you say: excuse me, I think you forgot to pay me.
So many people get stuck when customers say "how much do I owe you?" you obviously would say you amount OR you can say something like "what do you think is fair? At wich piont theywould probably say something a little less than you were hoping at wich piont you can say "I'm thinking more like...." OR "sure, perfect!"
After all that is done you should give them your phone number and if they want to set up weekly appointments you never turn that down!
